McKenzie Funeral Home was a dream of the late Rev. Howard McKenzie. Having been in Pastoral ministry for many years he felt a call to include his love for the funeral profession as part of his Christian ministry. Thus McKenzie Funeral Home was established as a result of his desire to see every family receive equality in professionalism and compassion no matter the situation.
Rev. McKenzie stated repeatedly and believed whole heartedly, “we will serve every family with the highest of honors…we get one shot at this service and there is NO room for error…we must make sure each family knows their options and have no regrets when the service is over.”
Following his legacy, the McKenzie family continues to be “Honored to Serve” each individual family as they celebrate the life of their loved one.
Therefore, our staff brings a combination of personal education, years of Christian ministry, military service, and professional counseling as we create each family’s tribute. There is no comparison to the excellence our staff has established over the years. We have created professional services that set the highest standards that others have try to reach and original tributes that many unsuccessfully try to copy. We declared from the beginning and still are a Christian-based business and ministry. We don’t just say the words, but fully believe the words Jesus said….”Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
