Willow Mae Dease Braddock, 81, the widow of John Vernon Braddock, Sr., went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Carolinas Hospital System.
Mrs. Braddock was born the daughter of John James Dease and Lula Howard Dease-Craft on August 11, 1934 in Lydia, SC.  She was a faithful member of the Sounds of Victory Holiness Church where she served in the Women’s Auxiliary.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend. She lived her life through the Psalmist believing, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1). 
     John and Willow Mae were married on May 10, 1950 and celebrated 65 years together.  Their home was blessed with: seven children, John Vernon Braddock, Jr., Frank Alfred (Jan) Braddock, Allen Leroy (Carolyn) Braddock, David Wayne (Angie) Braddock, Mark Vincent (Connie) Braddock, Lisa Renee Braddock Davis, and Kevin Daniel Braddock; 13 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
 She was predeceased by:  her parents; her husband; a son, Paul Anthony; two brothers, Rev. Jimmy Dease and George Dease; and a sister, Winifred D. McLaughlin.
A Home Going Celebration will be 2PM, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Family Worship Assembly, 4311 US 52 Hwy, Coward, SC 29530, directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. 
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Sounds of Victory Holiness Church, 3830 N Railroad Ave, Coward SC 29530.
