Hemingway
 

William Basial Lewis Jr., the husband of Earline Dennis Lewis, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at MUSC in Charleston.
Mr. Lewis was born the son of William Basial Lewis, Sr. and Elizabeth Nesmith Lewis on April 8, 1937 in Hemingway.  He was a retired employee with Wellman Industries.
He leaves behind:  his wife; six children, William Dale Lewis, Rhetta Jean Lewis, Eric Basial (Samantha) Lewis, Renee Collins McKnight, Shonda M. Collins and Faye (Steve) DuBose; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  He also leaves behind:  a brother, Joseph Terrell (Linda) Lewis; and three sisters, Billie L. (Francis) Tanner,  Rebecca L. (Randal) Graham, and Margie L. Collins.
He was predeceased by:  his parents; a son, Bernie Rae Collins; two brothers, Curtis Levon Lewis and James Arey Lewis.
A Going Home Celebration will be 11AM, Friday, October 24 2014, at the El Chapman Worship Center. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the Hemingway Chapel.
McKenzie Funeral Home of Hemingway is honored to serve the Lewis Family.
