Wilson Beamen Casselman, Sr

Wilson Beamen Casselman, Sr., 75, the widower of Merrell Whitnauer Casselman, departed this life, Monday, March 16, 2020 at his residence. 
Mr. Casselman was born the son of Horace Casselman and Millie Herring Casselman on September 30, 1944 in Williamsburg County.  He was a United States Army Veteran.  He enjoyed running fox hounds, deer hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by: four children, David Birt, Daniel Birt (Chrissy), Beamen Casselman, and Angel Cherry; seven grandchildren, Vanessa Ward, Joshua Birt, Savannah Birt, Hunter Birt, Abel Cherry, Karma Cherry, and Jaden Cherry; and four great-grandchildren, Nathan Birt, Drake Ward, Anna Grace Ward, and Hazel Grace Birt.  He is also survived by: three brothers, M.C Casselman (Elise), David Casselman (Ann), and Kenny Casselman (Annette); and two sisters, Judy Brown and Joyce Witherspoon (Wayne).
He was predeceased by: his parents; his wife; a daughter-in-law, Salina Birt; a brother, Roger Casselman (Vicky); and three sisters, Ivanell Tedder (Oscar), Yvonne Nora Wright, and Margy Goins (Joe).
 Funeral Services with Military Honors will be 5PM, Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, 610 South Rosemary Ave., Andrews.  Internment will follow in the Piney Forest Cemetery directed by McKenzie Funeral Home. 
 The Cassselman family will receive family and friends from 6-8PM, Wednesday evening, March 18, 2020 at the Andrews Chapel.
