Mrs. Cook was born the daughter of Benjamin Clifford Caddell and Maude Murphy Caddell on December 12, 1936 in Berkeley County. She was a retired supervisor with Oxford Industries in Kingstree. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts. She was a member of the Crossroad Ministries of Andrews. She enjoyed shopping, eating, and traveling.
She is survived by: four children, Debbie Cook NeSmith, Robert Cook, Jr., (Carol), Nancy McAlister (Johnny), and Cindy Collins (Bill); thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by: two brothers, Dennis Caddell (Maxine) and Carl Caddell; a sister, Dorothy Downey (Chuck); a number of nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Fluffy.
She is predeceased by: her parents; her husband; three brothers, Clifford Caddell, Johnny Caddell, and Edgar Caddell; and a sister, Clarice Mitchum.
A Home Going Celebration will be 3PM, Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Crossroads Ministries of Andrews. Interment will follow in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
The Cook family will receive family and friends 6-8PM, Wednesday evening, January 29, 2020 at the Andrews Chapel, 610 South Rosemary, Andrews.
