Sue Moore Williams, 70, the widow of Wayne Laverne Williams, Sr., went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening, October 26, 2013 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Williams was born the daughter of DeKay Moore and Evelyn Miller Moore on February 12, 1943 in Georgetown.  She worked in retail sales for many years at Roses and Dardens.  She was a retired Teacher’s Aide with the Georgetown County School System.  She was a member of the North Hampton Baptist Church.  She committed her life to acts of selfless giving for her family and her church family; and gave an unconditional love to earn her the distinguished title – Beloved Mother

She leaves behind:  three children, Evelyn Marie (David Graham) Shelby, Wayne Laverne (Buffy) Williams, Jr., and Pamela Waynette (Jeff) Traynham; eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy, Elizabeth, Dustin, David, Chase, Brandon, Nick, Jeff, Jack, and Catie; and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by:  her parents; her husband; and a brother, DeKay Moore, Jr.

A Home Going Celebration will be 2 PM, Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at the North Hampton Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Monday evening, October 28, 2013 at the Georgetown Chapel.
