Mr. Baylor was born the son of John Henry Baylor and Frances Cantley Baylor on February 29, 1940 in Williamsburg County. He was a retired employee of Sampit Lumber Mill. He grew up as part of the Bloomingvale Baptist Church family and was a current member of the Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church. He leaves behind: two sons, Sherwin Timothy “Timmy” (Mary Eppie) Baylor and Philip Feagin; five grandchildren, Melissa (Dan) Barnes, Paula Scheffler, Immie (Ashley) Powell, Andrew (Heather) Baylor, and Taelour Feagin; and five great-grandchildren, Allie McConnell, Malarie McConnell, Cassy McConnell, Audrey Blake Powell, and Aubriegh Grace Feagin. He also leaves behind: three brothers, Willie (Johnnie Mae) Baylor, Ernest (Jill) Baylor, and Walter (Sheila) Baylor; two sisters, Donna Jean (Danny) Cox and JoAnn (Ricky) Harrington; and his extended family - a special friend and companion, Patsy Martin; and her children and grandchildren, Freddie and Vickie, Roy and Renee, James and Wendy, Shelton, Brandon and Hollie, Shawn, Shelton Martin II, Cole, Katelyn, Taylor, Elizabeth, Zachary and Alyssa Phillips. He was predeceased by: his parents; his wife; four brothers, Jhue Baylor, Lorin Baylor, Horace Baylor, and Roger Baylor; two sisters, Inez Poston and Loretta Martin; and extended family, Kristopher Martin and Breanna Martin. A Home Going Celebration will be 4PM, Friday, June 30, 2017 at Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church. Internment will follow in the Bloomingvale Baptist Church Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
