Sylvia Ann Wilder Perry,
81, a lifelong resident of Hemingway and the widow of Henry Holland Perry,
went home to be the Lord, Friday, July 31, 2020.
Mrs. Perry was born the
daughter of James Elbert Wilder and Lou Ann Lewis Wilder Wilson on March
23, 1939 in Georgetown. She was a member of the VFW Post #10256 and
a member of the Cordesville First Baptist Church. She was a devoted
wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, and a loyal

two children, Angelina Rena Perry and Robert Wayne Perry both of Moncks
Corner; two grandchildren, Joseph “Joey” Alan Perry (Jennifer) of Ridgeville
and Amanda LouAnn Perry of Moncks Corner; and two great-grandchildren,
Connor and Audrey. She is also survived by: a brother, Rev.
Lewis Alan Wilder (Barbara) of Niceville, Fl.; and a sister-in-law and
brother-in-love, Mr. & Mrs. Jim Gaines (Jean) of Altamonte Springs,
She was predeceased by:
her parents; her husband; and a brother, James “Jimmy” Elbert Wilder, Jr.
A Graveside Service will
be 10AM, Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Garden of Devotion Cemetery directed
by McKenzie Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Alan Bagwell and
Rev. Lewis Wilder.
The Perry family will receive
family and friends immediately after the service.
The Perry family will also
receive family and friends at a reception honoring Mrs. Perry on Sunday,
August 9, 2020 at 2PM at Cordesville First Baptist Church, 1913 Highway
402, Moncks Corner, SC.
