Rachel May Barrett Crosby,
64, a beloved mother and the widowed of Hal Randy Crosby, went home to
be with the Lord, Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial
Mrs. Crosby was born the
daughter of Oscar Wilburn Barrett and Willie Lee Eldred
on August 28, 1955 in Temple, TX. She was a former employee of Tidelands
Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed going to the beach and
playing cards. Her greatest enjoyment and love was spending time
with her family.
She is survived by:
three children, Sabrina Walker (Jeremy), Kerri Lynch (Allan), and Angel
Crosby (Jacob Rigopoulos); three grandchildren, Sereana Fisher, Seleana
Fisher (William Long) and Gavin Lynch; and soon to arrive two great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by: a brother, Peter Barrett (Olivia); two sisters,
Pandora Ashley and Gail Herzog; a sister-in-law, Mae Hutto; a brother-in-law,
Johnny “Radar” Crosby (Sharon); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by:
her parents; her husband; her in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. Hal Gandy Crosby
(Zilphinie “Fennie”); and two brother-in-laws, Danny Joe Crosby and Ronnie
A Home Going Celebration
will be 2PM, Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness
Church. Officiating will be Pastor Dean Baber. Interment will
follow in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel
of McKenzie Funeral Home.
The Crosby family
will receive family and friends 6-8PM, Saturday evening, February 1, 2020
at the Andrews Chapel, 610 South Rosemary, Andrews.
