Patricia Ann Cox, 73, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 17, 2020 at McLeod Health in Florence.
Mrs. Cox was born the daughter of Cleve Cox and Leila Idell Avant Cox on May 20, 1947 in Andrews.   She was a former cook with Georgetown School District and International Paper Company and a former Health Care provider.  She was of the Baptist faith. As a woman of faith, Patricia walked this earthly journey trusting in the promise of Revelation 7:17,  “For the Lamb will be their shepherd; He will lead them to springs of living water.  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
She leaves behind: a son, Nelson Cleve “Peanut” Graham (Denise); a grandson, Keith Marshall Graham; and two sisters, Audrey I. Cox (Grover) and Darla L. Blakely (Danny).
She was predeceased by: her parents; two brothers, Ronald J. “Bubba” Cox and Rusty Lavon Cox; and two sisters, Florrie B. Cox and Shelby J. Cox.
A Graveside Service will be 1PM, Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Piney Forest Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.  Officiating will be Rev. Allen Ard and Rev. Murray Powell.
The Cox family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 11:30 – 12:30PM at the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, 610 S. Rosemary Ave., Andrews.
Memorials may be made to:  St Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
Due to Covid-19, the family asks that everyone please practice social distancing and facemasks as required.
