Ned Francis Rogers, Sr. 79, beloved husband of Betty Jo Ammons Rogers, departed this life, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.  
Mr. Rogers was born the son of Willie Oma Rogers and Iva Lee Lambert Rogers on August 2, 1941 in Georgetown.  He was a retired pipe fitter with International Paper Company for over 40 years.  He enjoyed woodworking and collecting guns. 
He is survived by:  his wife, Betty Jo; six children, Corey Rogers, Frankie Rogers, Norma Foxworth (Jerry), Susan Pope (Gerald), Jerry Causey, and Michelle Thames (Kevin); eleven grandchildren, Nicholas, Becky (Patrick), Bruce, Ryan (Laura), Heather (Derek), Danielle, Justin, Brittany (Tyler), Brandon, Brook, and Madison; and seven great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Emily, Brianna, Lexi, Allee, Ava, and Lainey.  He is also survived by:  a sister, Mary Elizabeth Nesbitt (Frankie).
He was predeceased by: his parents; two children, Mark Causey and Rhonda Causey; a grandson, Christopher; and two brothers, Jackie Rogers and Aubrey Rogers.
A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be 11AM, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church, 1663 N Fraser Street, Georgetown.  Officiating will be Rev. Jack Todd.
The Rogers family will receive family and friends immediately after in the church sanctuary.  
Due to Covid-19, the family asks that everyone please practice social distancing and facemasks are requested.
