Surrounded by her family, Mildred Clement Bryant, 84, of Andrews, went home to spend eternity with her Heavenly Father on the 10th of September 2017 after courageously battling Alzheimer's disease.
She was born and raised on Spring Creek Farm in Saxon, Wisconsin. She graduated from Saxon High where she cheered and found her love for sports which she continued for the rest of her life.  She grew up on a dairy farm that is still operated by the family today.  Even after making her home in the South her heart always belonged to her family in Wisconsin.
After many years at Oneita Knitting Mill and educating Special Needs children at Andrews Elementary, retirement enabled her to enjoy travels with her sisters. She was one of the four remaining matriarchs of St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church where she devoutly served as Eucharistic minister for many years and was involved in a special prayer group. She was an auxiliary officer of the Disabled American Veterans Association. Along with her best friend, Isabel Suggs, she participated in the Andrews High Booster Club by manning the concession stands for decades. Mildred's favorite role was being Grandma Millie attending every extracurricular activity that her grandchildren participated in. As a humble giving servant, she had a never wavering faith and love for her Father the Almighty who gifted her with a selfless ability to care for, visit, and never forget anyone who ever crossed her path.
In addition to her parents, husband, a brother, and a sister, Mildred was predeceased by a son, Brauck Bryant.
Mildred is survived by two sisters, two brothers, and her home was blessed with eight children; Mike (Penny) Bryant, Gayle (Jay) Tanner, Chet (Sharon) Bryant, Lori (Michael) Moore, Mark (Cathy) Bryant, Lynette Bryant, and BJ Bryant. She was also blessed with sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and two furry grand “boys”.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm at McKenzie Funeral Home in Andrews, SC on the 13th of September 2017.  Funeral services will be held at 3 pm at Saint Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church, 317 Broad Street Georgetown, SC with Father Rirchard Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at 4:30PM in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery directed by McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Troy Gamble, a lifelong family friend for his care and compassion, Amedisys of Florence, SC, and Bonnie Wilcox, her special caregiver.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tara Hall Home for Boys P.O. Box 955 Georgetown, SC 29442 or Walk to End Alzheimer's Association (Team name: The Millies) Myrtle Beach, SC
