Pawleys Island

Lindbergh Swails, Sr., 83, a beloved father, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, August 2, 2013 at the Tidelands Community Hospice House. 

Mr. Swails was born the son of Clyde D. Swails and Myrtle M. Swails on July 2, 1930 in Williamsburg County.  He was a United States Army and Coast Guard Veteran.  He was a member of Wayne United Methodist Church.

He leaves behind:  a son, Lindy (Tammy) Swails; five grandchildren, Leslie, Julie, Lauren, Brent and Austin; four great-grandchildren, Bailey, Paton, Logan, and Addison;  and three step-grandchildren, Eric, Katie, and Rich Sanders. 

He was predeceased by:  his parents, a brother, Lloyd Swails, and two sisters, Myrtis Cowart and Mildred Freeman

A Service of Death and Resurrection with Military Honors will be 11AM, Monday, August 5, 2013, at Wayne United Methodist Church.   A Committal Service will  follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
     
The Swails family will receive family and friends prior the service from 9:30-10:30 am in the sanctuary.
