ANDREWS

Levern Marion Wright, 72,  beloved husband of Virginia L. Wright, leaving his beloved family entered his Heavenly home and join his waiting loved ones on Thursday morning, February 21, 2013 at his residence. 

Mr. Wright was born the son of David Allen Wright and Gracie McKenzie Wright on June 26, 1940 in Georgetown.  He was a 1962 graduate of Andrews High School; a retired employee of International Paper Company; the founder and owner of Wright’s Backhoe and Septic Tank Service; and was a United States Army Veteran.  He was a lifelong member of the Andrews Church of God where he has faithfully served his fellow congregation for many years. 

Marion and Virginia were married on March 26, 1966 and celebrated 47 years together.  Their home was blessed with:  two children, Marion Dion (Tina) Wright and Christy W. (Bob) Reeves; four grandchildren, Luke Reeves, Ethan Wright, Colby Wright, and Gracyn Reeves.  He also leaves behind:  a brother, R. Wilmont (Nancy) Wright; and two sisters, Eleanor W. (David) Wilson and Janice W. (Harold) Dupree.

He was predeceased by:  his parents; a baby daughter; two sisters, Lou Jean W. Beasley and Earl Dean Wright.   

A Going Home Celebration with Military Honors will be 3 PM, Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Andrews Church of God.  Interment will follow in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Saturday evening, February 23, 2013, in the sanctuary of the Andrews Church of God.
