Leona Miller Marlow, 85,
the widow of Luther Marlow, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October
10, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Marlow was born the
daughter of William H. Miller and Minnie Marsh Miller on October 5, 1934
in Hemingway. She was a member of Freedom Tabernacle Full Gospel
Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother,
caring sister, and a loyal friend.
She leaves behind:
five children, Harley Joe Bill Marlow(MaryAnne), Bobby Franklin Marlow(Wanda),
Mary Lee Baxely, Luther Franklin “Frank” Marlow, Jr., and Bobby Ray Marlow;
eight grandchildren, Joe, Mindy, Elizabeth, Ashley, Derriel, Terri, William,
and Kraven; and twenty great-grandchildren. She also leaves
behind: four brothers, William H. “Jr.” Miller, Jr.(Gertrude), Charlie
Lee Miller(Mattie), Leo Miller(Linda), and William Dovall Miller(Jennie);
and two sisters, Clara Miller Poston and Juanita “Nita” Miller Marlow(David).
She was predeceased by:
her parents; a brother, Hoyt Linwood Miller; and two sisters, Mary Miller
Marlowe and Dorothy Miller Pope.
A Home Going Celebration
will be 5PM, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Freedom Tabernacle Full Gospel
Church. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Elliott. Internment
will follow in the church cemetery directed by McKenzie Funeral Home.
The Marlow family
will receive family and friends from 5-7PM, Saturday, October 12, 2019
in the sanctuary of Freedom Tabernacle.
