Louise Mary Hyson

Louise Mary Hyson, age 57, a resident of Georgetown, South Carolina died suddenly at her home on February 15, 2016, after a brief illness. 

She was born on April 22, 1958 in Baltimore, to Martha L (nee Murphy) and the late Stanley A. Hollowak. She is survived by her husband James B. Hyson whom she married on September 24, 1977.  Louise was the mother of three daughters: Jacqueline Jennifer, Heather Nicole, and Jaime Lee.  She was the grandmother of Destine'e Lynn and John Albert Mortimer; Rian James Hyson; and two sets of twins - Shawn David & Casey James and Deserae Marie& Natalee Nicole Alarcon. She was the sister of Thomas L., Stanley A. (Eva), Barbara A. O’Neal, and Mary R. Hollowak.  Louise was preceded in death by her oldest brother William F. Hollowak.
She graduated from Lansdowne Senior High School in 1976 and began working for the Motor Vehicle Administration. She retired from the MVA in 2008 when she and her husband relocated to Georgetown.Louise and her family enjoyed camping at Chincoteague, Virginia.  In 2006 she published a mystery novel, Trust and Betrayal.

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, and a host of friends, as well as her beloved dog Missy.
 The family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service. P. A. 4001 Ritchie Hwy.on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00pm. Interment private.
