Linda Louise Neely Cooper, 65, a beloved
mother and the wife of Luther Davis Cooper, went home to be with the Lord
on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at her residence.
Mrs. Cooper was born the daughter of
Lee Neely and Maybelle Landers Neely on February 20, 1949 Georgetown. She
was a graduate of Winyah High School and went on to become one of the first
female SLED agents. She was a retired fifteen-year employee with
TJ Max. She was a member of Sampit United Methodist Church and attended
Beulah Free Will Baptist Church.
Louise and Davis celebrated 25 years
together and were married on Thanksgiving Day 2000. Their home was
blessed with: seven children, Tammy Holmes, Paul (Tiffany) Watts,
Linda (Mark) Williams, Karen Adams, Dianne (Quinton) Worley, Chris (Angie)
Cooper, and Alice Marie Tisdale; and 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind: two sisters, Alice Stewart, and Louise J.
Cooper; and numerous extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by: her parents:
two brothers, Jerry Neely and Lewis Neely; and two sisters, Brenda Lambert
and Martha Boismie;
A Going Home Celebration will be 11AM,
Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating
will be the Rev. Allan Austin and Rev. Lanney Ard. Interment will
follow in the church cemetery directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Friday, May
9, 2014, in the sanctuary of Beulah Free Will Baptist Church.
