Lula E. Lambert Bratcher, 80, the beloved wife of Daniel A. Bratcher and the widow of Capers K. “Buster” Lambert”, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, September 30, 2012 at her residence.  
 
Mrs. Bratcher was born the daughter of Olie Lambert and Daisy Cooper Lambert on April 19, 1932, in Georgetown.  She was a member of the St. Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Fifty-Plus Club of Lambertown Community Center.  She committed her life to acts of selfless giving for her family and her church family and gave an unconditional love to earn her the distinguished title – Beloved Mother.

She leaves behind: her husband; three children, Elizabeth Ann Tucker, Larry (Kathy) Lambert, and Dorothy Marie (Billy) Edwards; seven step-children, David (Mary) Bratcher, Sylvia Gaines, George (Kay) Bratcher, Wayne (Klata) Bratcher, Gene Bratcher, Danny (Wanda) Bratcher, and Sara (Michael) Thacker; seventeen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a sister, Inez Horne. 

She was predeceased by: her parents; her first husband; one daughter, Karen Cox; a step-son, Billy Bratcher; and two brothers, Pressley Lambert and Hoyt Lambert.
A Home Going Celebration will be 3 PM, Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at the St. Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens directed by Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 1-3 PM, Wednesday, October 3, 2012, prior to the service in the St. Delight PHC sanctuary.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Tidelands Hospice House.
