Lois Ackerman Davis, 74,
a beloved mother and devoted wife of Jimmie Ray Davis, finished her earthly
battles and entered her Eternal home on Friday, May 3, 2019.
Mrs. Davis was born the
daughter of Loyd Horace Ackerman and Ozie Lambert Ackerman on May 30, 1944
in La Mesa, California. She was the second of a set of twins,
born third of five Ackerman siblings: Shirley (Clyde) Lambert, Rev. Lloyd
(Alice) Ackerman, Mary Anne (Edward) Richardson, and Ronald David (Martha)
Ackerman. She was a 1962 graduate of Williamsburg High School and never
missed one day of school in 12 years. Her life was her family and friends.
She was a mother to all no matter their age. Her life was the fulfillment
of a servantís heart.
Lois and Jimmie were married
August 2, 1060 and celebrated 57 years together. Their home was blessed
with two children: Tony (Bobbi Jo) Davis and Lisa (Lee) Kellahan;
four grandchildren, Raye (Jarrod) Jordan, Brandon (Joana) Davis, Karsyn
Kellahan, and Kadyn Kellehan; and six great grandchildren, Riley, Addyson,
Landon, Justin, Bella, and Wyatt.
She also leaves behind a
brother, Lloyd; a sister, Mary Anne; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her
parents; her siblings, Shirley and Ronald David; her niece, Tammy Ackerman;
and nephew, Ron David Ackerman, Jr.
A Home Going Service
will be 6 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2019 in the Earles Pentecostal Holiness Church
Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Officiating will be Rev. Lloyd Ackerman.
