Janella Mobley Ard, 67, beloved
wife of Alvin Lee Ard, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 19,
2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Ard was born the daughter
of Sam Joe Mobley and Vivian Smith Mobley on September 12, 1951 in the
Bloomingvale Community. She was a former employee of Tupperware and
was a caregiver for others. She was a lifetime member of Bloomingvale
Baptist Church where she served in the church choir, nursery and hospitality
committee. She lived her life serving others and with the promise
of John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.” She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, caring
sister, and a loyal friend.
She leaves behind:
her husband; three children, Andy (Teresa) Ard, Angie (Timmy) Lambert,
and Aaron Ard; four grandchildren, Amber (Keith) Roberts, Chris (Ashley)
Ard, Brittany (Matthew) Howell, and Dawson Lambert; and six great-grandchildren,
Cheyenne, Jana, Margaret Ann, Brandy, Carter, and Leah. She was born
the fourth of eight children, Dale Mobley, Wanda M. Blakley, Sammie (Velma)
Mobley, Randy Mobley, Alicia (Ron) Ogle, Danny Mobley, and Tammy Mobley.
She also leaves behind a large number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased
by: her parents; and a sister, Tammy Mobley.
A Home Going Celebration
will be 4PM, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Bloomingvale Baptist Church. Interment
will follow in the Church Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie
Visitation will be prior
to the service from 3-4PM, in the church sanctuary.
