Janice Louise Cooper Ethridge,74, the widow of John William “JW” Ethridge, departed this life, Friday, October 4, 2019 at her residence. 
Mrs. Ethridge was born the daughter of Samuel Oliver Cooper and Margaret Howard Cooper on July 6, 1945 in Williamsburg County.  She was a former seamstress with Oneita Industries.  She enjoyed being outdoors and camping.
She leaves behind:  two children, Nancy E. (Lynn) Lockliear and Patricia E. Smith; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind: a brother, Oliver “Buck” Cooper; and three sisters, Florence Wilder, Ann C. Casselman (David), and June C. Turner.
She was predeceased by:  her parents; and her husband, JW.   
Graveside Services will be 4PM, Monday, October 7, 2019 at Piney Forest Cemetery directed by McKenzie Funeral Home.  
The Ethridge Family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 2:30 – 3:30PM at the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, 610 South Rosemary Ave., Andrews.
