Rev. Joseph Bryce “Joe” Swails,
64, the beloved husband of Susan Duncan Swails, entered into Eternal Life
on Sunday evening, January 18, 2015 at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Rev. Swails was born the
son of John Washington Swails, Jr. and Glenda Mae Baldwin Swails on February
10, 1950 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was a graduate of Emmanuel College
and received his Masters in Educational Administration from the University
of Georgia. He was an educator in the Franklin County, GA School
District and the Georgetown County School District. He was a ordained Minister
with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church – Georgia Conference.
He was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was the founder
of “Praise Unlimited”. He was a member of the Victory Christian
He leaves behind:
his wife; a stepson, David Aaron (Mandy) Pierce; and four grandchildren,
Bradley, Jeremy, Gracie Ann, and Joseph; two brothers, John Washington
“Johnny” (Joy) Swails, III and James Ryan “Jim” (Deborah) Swails.
A Celebration of Life Service
will be 6PM, Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the Victory Christian Fellowship.
The Swails family will receive
family and friends at a Reception in Honor of Joe Swails immediately after
the service in the church fellowship hall.
