Juanita Bazen Hardee

Juanita Bazen Hardee, 67, the widow of Frank Carl and Calvin Cleveland Hardee, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at her residence. 
Mrs. Hardee was born the daughter of Charlie Bazen and Ruth Ackerman Bazen- Walker on October 19, 1948 in Georgetown.  She was a former teacherís aid at McDonald Elementary School and was the pre-school teacher for 19 years at the First Baptist Church of Murrells Inlet.  She attended the Fountain of Life Ministries in Conway.  One of her many hobbies was collecting lighthouses.  The lighthouse was a symbol of her spiritual dependence upon the light of the world-Jesus Christ.  It was also a symbol of her motherly legacy of guidance, safety, and trust, which she gave to her children, family, and her students. 
She leaves behind: three children, Frankie (Ralph Hewitt) Carl, Sandra (Randy Gregory) Hardee, and John Adam (Brittney) Carl; two grandchildren, Whitney and Thomas; and 2 great-grandchildren, Gracelynn and Wyatt; a brother, C.L. Bazen; three sisters, Ruth Ann Howell, Vickie Lynn (Harris) Casselman, and Belinda Kay (Dean) Jordan.
She was predeceased by:  her parents; her two husbands; and a brother-in-law, Larry Howell.  
Funeral Service will be 11AM, Friday, February 19, 2016, at the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  Interment will follow immediately after the service in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. 
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
