Irene Lucille Cooper Moore, 85, a beloved mother and the widow of William Alfred Moore, departed this life Thursday, January 23, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. 
Mrs. Moore was born the daughter of William Benjamin Cooper and Mattie Lucille Lambert Cooper on October 5, 1934.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and a caring sister.
She leaves behind:  four children, Sherrilyn Newton (Corbett), Lucille “Lucy” Parrott, Talbert “Woody” Broach, Jr., and Vicky Thomas (Jimmy); eight grandchildren, Myrick Newton (Danielle), Torie Newton, Adam Newton, Melody P. Mashburn (Gregg), Michael Parrott, Mason Parrott (Ashley), Jessica Prosser, and Lee Thomas; ten great-grandchildren, Briley, Mason “Jr.”, Nathan, Jasmine, Tyler, Christian, Noah, Mattie, Vincent, and Larrisa; a brother, Daniel Cooper (Rosa Lee); and a sister, Betty Jo Hanser (Carl).
She was predeceased by:  her parents; her husband; and her six siblings.
A Home Going Celebration will be 12PM, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, 610 South Rosemary Ave., Andrews. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.   
Visitation will be prior to the service from 11AM – 12PM at the Andrews Chapel.
