Hoyt Julian Collins, Sr., 81, the widower of Carol Louise Coker Collins, departed this life Saturday, August 19, 2017 at McLeod Hospice House.
Mr. Collins was born the son of Theodore Jackson Collins and Alice Young Collins on January 3, 1936 in Conway.  He was a member of Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He leaves behind:  a daughter, Angela C. (Marion) McKenzie; two grandsons, Joey (Crystal) Cook III and Jody (Chelsea) Cook; two great-grandsons, Jayce and Cole; two brothers, Winston (Linda) Collins and Terry (Kathy) Collins; and two sisters, Queen Langley and Jackie Pope.  
He was predeceased by:  his parents; a son, Hoyt Julian Collins, Jr.; six brothers, Ralph Collins, Stafford Collins, William “Bill” Collins, Larry Collins, James Collins, and Charles Collins; and two sisters, Cora Baxley and Mary Langley.
A Graveside Service will be 5PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Lake Chapel Church Cemetery directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.  
The Collins family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:30-4:30PM at the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
