Harris Ervin Casselman, 74, beloved husband of Vickie Lynn Bazen Casselman, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at MUSC. 
Mr. Casselman was born the son of Beaufort Gilbert Casselman and Juanita Ward Casselman on September 14, 1942 in Andrews.  He was a member of the New Hope Fellowship Church where he severed on the Board of Trustees and church cook for many years.  He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, caring “Buddy” and a loyal friend.
He leaves behind:  his wife; four children, Ila Desiree Casselman, Harris Jake Casselman, Jennifer Christine Davis, Ashton Lee (Lauren) Davis, Jr.; two step-children, Rita MaCarthy and Stevie MaCarthy; and three grandchildren, Owen Davis, Logan Casselman, and the arrival of a granddaughter in October.  He also leaves behind:  three brothers, Harold (Margie) Casselman, Rev. JW (Karen) Casselman, Bruce (Glenda) Casselman; four sisters, Harriett “Teddy” Ethridge, Jennelle (Marion) Young, Barbara “Bobbi” Tisdale; and Carolyn (Phil) Fulton; and two sister-in-laws, Bobbi Ann Casselman and Bobbi Casselman.  
He was predeceased by:  his parents; and two brothers, Sylvester Casselman and Carl Casselman.  
A Home Going Celebration will be 11AM, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at New Hope Fellowship Church.  Officiating will be the Rev. Willie Lawrimore and Rev. JW Casselman.  Internment will follow in the Ivy cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.   
Visitation will be 6-9PM, Friday, June 9, 2017 in the sanctuary of New Hope Fellowship.
