Gilbert “Butch” Angus, 74,
beloved husband of Betty Lou Rasor Angus, went home to be with the Lord
and celebrate with his beloved daughter, Valerie, her 56th birthday on
Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
Mr. Angus was born the son
of Everett Levell Angus and Violet Eleanor Sweesey Angus on September 25,
1946 in Fairfield County, OH. He was self-employed as
a boilermaker and ironworker. He enjoyed working and repairing
cars and trucks. His greatest enjoyment was drag racing, fishing,
racing go-carts, and riding motorcycles. He was a devoted husband,
loving father, cherished grandfather, caring brother, and a loyal friend.
Butch and Betty were married
on February 6, 1964 and celebrated 56 years together. Their home
was blessed with: four children, Valerie Annette Worten (J.C.), Kimberly
L. Shuler (James), Tammy A. Hunter (Heath), and Mark Anthony Angus (Stephanie);
seven grandchildren, Tristan, Raley, Lauren, Christopher, Anthony, Ryan,
and Ariana; and two great-grandchildren, Claire and Greyson. He is
also survived by: three brothers, Rodney Angus, Danny Angus, and
Dale Angus; four sisters, Jeanette French, Thelma Tinon, Connie Decker,
and Susie “Sue” Decker.
He was predeceased by:
his parents; a daughter, Valarie; three brothers, Bud Angus, Duke Angus,
and Richard Angus; and three sisters, Ann Schultz, Jenny McConnel, and
