Faye Wall Prosser, 81, the
widow of James Carlton Prosser, departed this life Sunday, March 18, 2018
at McLeod Health.
Mrs. Prosser was born the
daughter of Herbert Benjamin Wall and Effie Permilla Howard Wall on February
18, 1937 in Georgetown County. She was a former employee of Oxford
Sewing Plant. She was a member of the Nesmith Baptist Church where
she served on the Social Committee, Nominating Committee, and WMU.
Her greatest enjoyment and role was being a mother and spending time with
her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished
grandmother, caring sister and friend.
She leaves behind:
two sons, James “Randy” Prosser and William “Tim” (Dawn) Prosser; two grandchildren,
Britanny Prosser and Mari Alice Prosser; and two sister-in-laws, Rose Miller
and Vonnie Jean P. Smith.
She was predeceased by:
her parents; her husband; and a brother, Raymond Edward Wall.
A Home Going Celebration
will be 1PM, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Nesmith Baptist Church.
Burial directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home will follow
in the church cemetery.
The Prosser family
will receive family and friends after the service in the church fellowship
