Elbert Henry Lambert, 78,
a beloved father and the devoted husband of Irene Nell Hanser Lambert,
went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, August 30, 2019, at his
Mr. Lambert was born the
son of Dethel Leo Lambert and Mildred Louise Tumbleston Lambert on July
25, 1941 in Georgetown. He was a former employee of Westvaco and
Leo Lambert Logging. He was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal
Holiness Church. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and fox hunting.
While at field trials, he loved socializing and he never met a stranger.
His greatest pleasure and enjoyment was spending time with grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, loving father,
cherished grandfather, caring brother, and a loyal friend.
He leaves behind:
his wife, Irene; three children, Randy Lambert(Erica), Joey Lambert(Tina),
and Keith Lambert(Juanita); eight grandchildren, Jessica Hechler(Dusty),
Randi Thompson(Andy Clay), William Lambert, Shaina Bone, Cortney Shaw,
Faith Lambert, Joey “JJ” Lambert and Danica Lambert; five great-grandchildren,
Dusty “Bud” Hechler, Naythan Hechler, Gage Ard, Emma Hechler, and Andrew
Thompson; a brother, Mitchell Lambert(Annalyn); two sisters, Joyce Lambert
and Eunice McKenzie(Winston); a sister-in-law, Gail Lambert; and his constant
companion and fur baby, Jazz.
He was predeceased by: his
parents; a brother, Leo Lambert, Jr. and a brother-in-law, Shot Lambert.
