Dorothy Louise Turner Cooper, 65, the widow of Nicky Laverne Cooper, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. 
Mrs. Cooper was born the daughter of John Walter Turner and Dorothy Ellen Eaddy Turner on December 7, 1954.   She was a member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church.  She enjoyed collecting antiques, going to yard sales, flea markets and consignment shops.   She was a loving mother and a protective “momma bear”.
She is survived by:  three children, Kelly Mixon (Lane), Ashely Thomas (Kalib), and Randall Morris, II (Amanda); five grandchildren, Madeline, Caiden, Sadie, Lizzie, and Trey.  She is also survived by:  a brother, Ricky Turner (Dorothy); a sister, Mary Taylor  (Ricky); and loved like sisters, Tammy Turner, Glenda Casselman (Bruce) and Debbie Hobgood (Allan).
She was predeceased by:  her parents; her husband; and three brothers, Jerry Turner, John “Toot” Turner and John Newton.
A Home Going Celebration will be 2PM, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Piney Forest Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.   
The Cooper family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 1-2PM in the Piney Forest Baptist Church Family Life Center.
