Daphne Cribb Morris

Daphne Cribb Morris, 61, beloved wife of Mr. Joey Morris, entered into the joy of God’s eternal light, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at MUSC.
 Mrs. Morris was born the daughter of the late Louis A. Cribb and Nellie Jo Cribb on July 30, 1954 in Hemingway.  She was a retired School Teacher with the Georgetown County School District.  She was a graduate of Coastal Carolina University and received her Master’s degree from Francis Marion University.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she served as a previous leader of Trinity MYF.  She was an active member in the Andrews Relay for Life and a volunteer for Tidelands Community Hospice.  She enjoyed reading, sewing & smocking for her girls, and supporting her Carolina Gamecocks.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, cherished sister, and a loyal friend to all.  “Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come.” (Proverbs 31:25)
 She leaves behind:  her husband; her mother; a son, Patrick Wayne Wall; and five grandchildren, Kelsey Shanna Taylor, Christopher Patrick Lambert, Malorey MaRyan Morris, Raylee Savanna Morris; and Molly RubyGail Morris; and a sister, Jessie Melinda Cribb.  She also leaves behind her extended: her-in-laws, Walker (Gail) Morris; her brother-in-law,Ryan Morris and sister-in-law whom she loved like a sister, Michelle Morris; two Aunts and Uncles, Bettie (Berry) Owens and Tommie Ann (Johnny) Ard; a number of cousins; and special friends, Roberta Moody and Rebecca Mixon.
 She was predeceased by: her father.
 Funeral Service will be will be 2PM, Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
 Visitation will be 6-9PM, Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Andrews Chapel.
 Memorials may be made to:  Trinity United Methodist Church Youth Fund or Media Fund; 205 South Rosemary Ave., Andrews, SC 29510.
