Mr. Norward Brooks “Buddy” Wheeler, Jr. and Mrs. Julia Annette “Julie” Padgett Wheeler, united as one in the eyes of God, together entered into eternal glory on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
Mr. Wheeler was born the son of Norward Brooks Wheeler and Bonnie Meshaw Wheeler on January 15, 1949 in Williamsburg County. He was a United States Army Veteran and was the recipient of the Purple Heart.  He attended the Trio United Methodist Church. 
He leaves behind:  his mother; three children, Jason Brooks (DeAnna Altman) Wheeler, Marci W. (Bill) LeHew, and Natalie (Gerald) Scott; a grandson, Aaron Collins; a brother, Steve (Brenda) Wheeler; two sisters, Linda W. Dingle and Donna W. (Will) Green; and a number of nieces and nephews. 
He was predeceased by:  his father; and his wife.  
Service of Death and Resurrection will be 5PM, Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church.  Committal Service will be 11AM, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Harmony Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
The Wheeler and Padgett family will receive family and friends immediately after the service in the Family Life Center. 
McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wheeler and Padgett families.
