William “Billy” Carson Casselman,
71, the husband of Evelyn Crews Casselman and widower of Joyce Long Casselman,
departed this life Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Casselman was born the
son of DeLeon Franklin Casselman and Willow Cox Casselman on April 17,
1948 in Williamsburg County. We was a 40 year retired employee of
International Paper Company and was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, judging at the fox pens, and was a former
president of the Morrisville Hunting Club. His greatest pleasure
was driving around in his 1963 Chevy Impala.
Billy and Joyce’s home was
blessed with: two children, Barry (Lisa) High and Willie High; and
four grandchildren, Kyle High, Bubba High, April “Sissy” Phillips, and
Jamie (Sabrina) High.
Billy and Evelyn’s home
was blessed with: two children, Tina (David) Harper and Jessica Morris
(Travis) Nesbitt; seven grandchildren, Claire Harper, Tracy (Allen) Morris,
Taylor Nesbitt, Carson Nesbitt, Dalton Nesbitt, Maddie McConell, and Baylee
Casselman; and two great-grandchildren, Willow and Weldon.
He is survived by:
four brothers, Eddie Casselman, Thomas “Noodie” (Darlene) Casselman, Raymond
(Marlene) Casselman, and Leon “Jr” (Mary Grace) Casselman; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by:
his father; a brother, Robert “Bob” Casselman; and a sister, Queenie Casselman.
Graveside Service will be
10AM, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Piney Forest Cemetery directed by the
Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 7-9PM,
Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home,
610 S. Rosemary Ave., Andrews, SC.
