Ashley LeAnn Walters Avant, 30, beloved mother and the wife of Kenneth Lee Avant, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Avant was born the daughter of Rev. Raymond Lee Walters, Jr. and Patricia Ann Cox Walters on November 18, 1988 in Charleston.  She was a 2007 graduate of Andrews High School and was an employee of Maring & Moyer, LLC.  She was a active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she served in the Children’s Ministry, Vacation Bible School, Sound Tec., and volunteer Event Coordinator.  She was a volunteer for the 8 Oaks Athletic Complex.  Like her love for vibrant colors, her life displayed rich and contagious joy and laughter that lightened every room she entered.  Her greatest accomplishment was that of a daughter, wife and mother.  Throughout her life she gave unselfishly and loved unconditionally.  She leaves behind a Godly heritage to her family and to all who knew her.
Ashley and Ken were married on April 30, 2011 at Cornerstone Baptist Church and their home was blessed with three daughters, AnLee Ren Avant, Lydia Rae Avant and Evie Pearl Avant.  She is survived also by:  her parents, Lee and Patricia; two brothers, Michael Jason Walters (Katelin) and Patrick Lee Walters (Rebecca); her nieces and nephews, Camie Lynn Samson, Michael Caden Walters, Jude Morris Walters, Parker Lee Walters, and Sullivan Grace Walters; her paternal grandmother, Doris Walters; her maternal grandmother, Patsy Cox; and her extended family-in-love: parents, Mr. & Mrs. Harvey (Eulene) Avant; Grandmother Mrs. Jeanette G.
