Ann Mae Karling Flowers, 83, the widow of Carnal Dewey “CD” Flowers, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. 
Mrs. Flowers was born the daughter of William Karling and Linda Makinen Karling on September 5, 1933 in Wakefield, MI.  She was a retired employee of Oneita Knitting Mills and Flowers Service Station. She was a member of the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.  
 CD and Ann were married on December 13, 1952 and celebrated 61 years together.  Their home was blessed with: three children, Carnal “Dewey” Flowers, Jr., Carol Ann Flowers, and Deidra F. (Jerry) Richards; four grandchildren, Ashley F. (Jamey) Eaddy, Christopher Dewey Flowers, Brianna Lynne (Zaki Lynn) Richard, Jerry Joseph Richard III; and two great-grandchildren, Madyson Delaney Eaddy and Brynna Elise Lynn.  She also leaves behind a sister, Marilyn Karling.
 She was predeceased by:  her parents; her husband; a son, Dewey; three brothers, David Karling, William Karling, and Edward Karling; and two sisters, Ruth K. Delich and Betsy Kaczmarek
A Memorial Service will be 2 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
 Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2PM in the church sanctuary.
