Albert Jack Todd, Sr

Mr. Albert Jack Todd, Sr., 85, the husband of Peggy Irene Welch-Todd and widower of Minnie Margret Young Todd, departed this life on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Tidelands Community Hospice House of Georgetown.
Mr. Todd was born the son of Walter Jack Todd and Edith Mae Shelley Todd on August 31, 1930 in Horry County. He was formerly of Murrells Inlet. He was a heavy machine operator with Georgetown County.   He was a commercial fisherman.
Albert and Peggy were married on September 10, 1995.  This union united two families as one and blessing them with fifteen children:  Claudia T. Moyer, Rev. Cephus Jack Todd, Sr., Victor J. Todd, Albert J. Todd, Jr., Michael W. (Marie) Todd, Susan T. (Johnny) Todd, Timothy A. (Elaine) Todd, Sylvia Todd, Brenda (Donnie) Baker, Heyward (Cindy) Welch, Jean Baker, Russell “Shorty” (Debbie) Welch, John Allen (Lynn) Welch, Wendy (Terry) Teal, and Cheryl (Charles) Branch;  33 grandchildren and 71 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by: his parents; his first wife; a son, Al; a daughter, Sylvia; a brother, Artie Todd; and a sister, Leona Causey. 
Celebration of Life will be 2PM, Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Rhems Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. 
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Wednesday evening, October 21, 2015 in the church sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  Tidelands Community Hospice, 2591 N. Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC  29440.
