Aloma Judith McKenzie Poston
Aloma Judith McKenzie Poston, 75, the wife
of Bobby Poston, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 1, 2016
at her residence.
Mrs. Poston was born the daughter of Ornin
Levi McKenzie and Vivian Covann Parsons McKenzie on September 27, 1941
in Georgetown County. She was a retired Sales Representative with
Aqua Air Systems. She attended the Six Mile Crossing Church of God
and The Christian Fortress Church. She was a former student of the
Living Word Center. She was a devoted wife; loving mother, cherished
grandmother; and a caring sister.
She leaves behind: her husband; a daughter,
Penny Ann P. (Tony) Woodruff; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Jessica) Poston,
Alanna (Ian) Iseminger, Taylor (Dustin) Driggers, and Selena Woodruff;
and four great-grandchildren, Katherine, Robert, William, and Brenda. She
also leaves behind: four brothers, Rabon (Carolyn) McKenzie, Eric
(Carol) McKenzie, Lewis (Carolyn) McKenzie; and Wayne (Ella Mae “Sis”)
McKenzie; two sisters, Doris Ann Cooper, Christine (David) Young; and a
number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
A Home Going Celebration will be 4PM,
Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at The Christian Fortress. Internment will
follow in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel
of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Monday,
October 3, 2016, at the Andrews Chapel.
